Faking Reflection

Is it possible to exclude objects from Reflection?
If not, is it possible to have an environmental reflection on the Shader Level
instead on the scene level?

I have an empty white room, which inhabits a highly reflective object and in
order to get some interesting reflections I want to mix in an hdr environment
into the reflection, but the room is blocking the octane sky object with my hdr texture.
Any ideas for a workaround?

Put a sphere in between the object and the room. Hdr dome is basically a sphere. make sphere invisible with an object tag.

I'd use the hdr as an image based in the emmission tag both for the texture and distrubution..

Thanks for your suggestion Kerem, I am not sure if I understood the second part of your answer.
Could you provide a screenshot or a file for clarification. Thanks.

It did, thanks again. It would be nice if we could have more options in the Object Tag for including and excluding objects from AO, Reflection etc.
