Export of Multi-layer EXR via the Animation tab is not currently supported - but I will add this in the next release of the plugin. In the meantime, either Export Animation and render both passes in Octane Standalone, or render as normal but select Material Id from the Viewport toolbar when rendering the first frame (careful with this option to select a different save folder to the folder where you beauty pass was saved).

Yes, you would need to render twice - once for each pass. And no, the plugin does not add the pass name to the saved file, although I think Standalone does.

Saving all passes each animation frame to a single EXR is in the next release of the plugin - which should be out in the next couple of days.

I do not understand, I see octane created 2 render:
beaty and pass, octane make it!
Why is not possible save in this renders as png format?

Do the render 2 times or more and a big waste of time. :(

As stated above..."render as normal but select Material Id from the Viewport toolbar when rendering the first frame". This will trigger the plugin to save the Material Id pass to the png. So you would need to render the animation twice. It is easier to Export Animation to Octane Standalone and render there if you cannot wait for the next release of the plugin.

yes i can make it but only if i render a single frame and no a sequence animation, or better dont make it automatically for all frames.
