I can't get displacement to work. If i load an image or shader in the displacement channel nothing happens. Not just in the render, the channel won't actually load the image or shader so the displacement control won't even show up.

What am I doing wrong?

Plug the "Displacement" node in the displacement channel. After that plug the texture in the "Displacement" node.

Ah that works, thanks. Well I guess the displacement node should be attached to the channel by default.

Oh my word, displacement in Octane is amazing!
