My main question is why there is grass growing around it.

Green energy is the general hype today. If your energy isn't green enough, decorate it with grass
The flames are quite nice.

I'd just say look at as many references as you can and pick apart differences in:
• Metal material
• Flame shape: not perfectly uniform etc.
• Flame color (yours seems quite good but seems a little light blue)
• Heat distortion etc.
I'd say your close but something seems a little off.

Give the flame a subtle orange/yellow color on the interior and make the material fade/soften more on the exterior. Might be useful to add a couple of flowers/butterflies and the like to clarify that the green stuff is grass. As of now I was initially confused what I was looking at.

Maybe you mean 'exterior', no?

well thank you all for the feedback,
but i abandoned the project, my client disappeared, i didn`t get payed

so...
as for the materials for the stove he asked for those dull metals that exact type of flame.
@Odeas
the flame was made with an opacity map on a curved plane, as for the heat distortion i have no clue how to achieve that in octane
@Nichod
that is a good idea but i`m not going to work on this project anymore

if the client will pop up at my door with the money in his hand maybe i will finish he`s stove.
Best regards,
Tudor

@3rdeye
thank you,
but i have a great deal of pain trying to achieve the flame effect in octane... i have tried so many maps created in PS so many shapes

edit:

the final image submitted to the client... i now officially hate him!
