Hello to all,

Unfortunately i have a problem with the plugin.
After i have installed it, Sketchup is not starting anymore and is giving me a bugspat screen. I have attached the file and the error reports that it had produced.
The third file that is mentioned over there (the .xml file) is not at the specified location.

My OS : Windows 7 x64.
Sketchup version 2015 x64.
Octane standalone 2.16 and the last RC 2.22.1

It gave me the problem with all the other plugins installed and with all of them removed. So i do not think that is related to what i have in my plugin folder.
On the 2014 version of SKP is not giving any problem.

Can someone help out? I can provide other information if necessary.

Hi pimpuppy,

Could you please make sure that you have installed a proper version of SU plugin, that is x64 bit version if you have SketchUp x64 2015 installed and x86 if you have x86 version of SU.
So just try reinstalling the plugin and try it again.

Yes i have installed the x64 bit plugin as i have the x64 version of Sketchup 2015.

I tried also to install the x86 bit plugin (after i made two unsuccessful installs for the x64 vers) and the installer gave me an error that the adequate Sketchup version is not available (obviously ...).
SO this is also out of the question ...

As i mentioned before the plugin is working in normal conditions in Sketchup 2014.

I know that you're busy with the release of the new plugin, but....

Just a quick update. And this is not a good news for me.
I have tried the last plugin that you posted earlier and it is not working. It is giving me the same error.
Maybe there is a "licensing" problem between the 2014 version and this new one?

No it has nothing to do with licensing.
Could you please check log files located here:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Octane\SketchUp\logs

I need recent logs that lead to crashes.

Also, try installing recent nvidia drivers. This is necessary for Octane to work.

I have all the latest drivers. I tried to make it work a few months ago but without success and i tried again now. But no problem for now. I will use the standalone Octane with the old exporter plugin.

In a few weeks i will reinstall my OS and i will give it a try on a fresh install. If i will have troubles again i will post again.
