Simulating a night shot

I don't have lights in my model, but by implementing the glass as a diffuse, transparent, self-illuminating surface it seems possible to get an approximate night time view...

This uses Octane's daylight solution and pathtracing (it took over 6 hours!)

The missing element seems to be light spill onto the courtyard outside.

Is there a better way to do this (apart from sticking hundreds of lights into the model)?

Hey,

I think in this case you'd want to try and not use tricks like alpha, but to try to use something nearest to reality,
eg use propper glass, and add interior lighting.

The interior lighting does not need to be too complex, i'd just use several elongated planes hanging on ceilings throughout the building.
