Hi,
I'm not a 3ds max user, but I guess that you need a specific Max Script that exports the proxies position rotation and scale as a series of 12 digit matrix in a .CSV file. Then, in standalone you can connect the object to be instantiated to a scatter node with the proper .csv file connected.
I have made a fast search in the 3Ds Max section but I have not been able to find it, sorry.
