FOV problems in Archicad-animation

Hi Paul,
from where exactly is the plugin picking its camera-fov?
I've got mismatches between what is set in the Archicad-cameras and the final animation.
It seems that the fov is neither taken from the first camera, nor from what is saved in 'default rendertarget' (ist the fov saved there at all?).
Hoping for a little tip...
Artur

Hi Artur
The FOV should be calculated from the ArchiCAD camera at each frame in the animation. If you are having issues, pls send me the pla version of your scene and I will take a look.

You'll get a mail, Paul.
By the way; when I doublecklick the cameras of the path to check them, with Octane viewport opened, the fov is identical.
Only in the finished animation they differ.
Archicad setup, fov 85°
Last rendered frame of animation, fov ca. 73,5°
This example is from the route "02 Ost bis Haupteingang", which should be diplayed/open in the PLA you'll get.
Greetings,
Artur

Hi Artur - thanks for sending through the file.
The problem is due to the ArchiCAD API providing a way to get the camera FOV when rendering via the OctaneRender Viewport, however when using the ArchiCAD Photorenderer, the ArchiCAD API does not seem to provide the FOV (so the plugin is using the FOV that was last obtained when the OctaneRender Viewport was opened). I have posted a request for how to get the FOV from a Photorenederer plugin on the Graphisoft Dev forum - so a fix may be possible.

Hi Paul,
When animating from one Archicad camera to another with different settings for sun...
The sun fluently transforms from the first vamera setting to the second, right?
If you can fix the fov thing... does that mean that in future it kight be possible to fluently animate from ie fov 35 to 65?
And willl it also be possible to do animation with camera aperture change?
(To make this awsome animation where camera zoom in and out and making picture sharp and fuzzy!?)

Yes, probably - because AC is providing a calculates sun position each frame - ensuring the sun smoothly moves through the animation.

If AC provides the FOV at each frame, and it is smoothed between the camera positions, then yes. However at the moment it doesn't appear AC is providing the FOV at all for Photorenderer processes.
And willl it also be possible to do animation with camera aperture change?
I doubt this would be possible in the AC plugin - sorry. AC does not provide any way to store different plugin values at each frame. Instead, export to Standalone and animate the aperture there (using the above script) - or load the exported ORBX into the Nuke plugin, where the FOV, Aperture, etc can be animated.

Animating the aperture changing might be possible when lua scripting is integrated?

Thanks for checking that out, Paul!
Waiting for the fix
@ Rappet;
Yes, sun position is animated properly, in animation and sun study!
(older example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVrgup6l5q0 / sun change: ca. 1:10 ff / sun study 2:12 ff)
