Network Rendering 'invalid version'

Hi Paul,

I'm trying to render in Archicad (on master of course) with a network slave (Win 8.1 Pro 64bit & GeForce GTX 560 3072MB), but:

Master and slave have both the identical 2.17 64bit standalone installed.
When I run the standalone on the master, network rendering works without problems!

Might there be a problem with the plugin (2.21.1.40 (64 bit))?
Or do you have another idea?

Thaks in advance & greetings,
Artur

Have you tried as test to render master with slave in standalone ono master instead of from Archicad plugin?

Hi Rappet,

yes, when running standalone on master the slave works without problems (results in ca. 130% faster rendering than only on master).
Only from the AC-plugin it doesn't want to work.

Firewall doesn't have an influence on that, should I try different ports perhaps?

Greetings,
Artur

Seems you are running plugin 2.21 and standalone 2.17.. They must be the same to run networkrendering.
You need to install network daemon 2.21 instead of 2.17

Really? AFAIK the standalones have to be identical...

But OK - I'll try that. Thanks for the tip, Rappet :D

It works :D
1000 Thanks!
