Is it possible to have lightwaves own camera to match Octanes panoramic stereo camera? So that I could render TurbulenceFD volumetrics with Lightwaves own renderer and then add them to the octane rendered image in post?

I am not sure. Perhaps you could configure the LW advanced camera to match the Octane panoramic one. There is also the Ubercam plugin that has a lot of camera models for LightWave. You could ask to it's developers about the compatibility with the Octane panoramic camera: http://www.liberty3d.com/tools/ubercam-camera-plugin/
