Network Slave only rendering in Viewport engine

Hi guys,
I have a problem with network rendering in 3ds max 2015.
When rendering from the octane viewport my slave is rendering together with the master.
But when I use the production render from 3ds max (or witch batch render), my node's GPU spikes sometimes but remains inactive.
I'm using version 2.20.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Cheers,
Dario

Hi dvhouw

How long does it take to render a single frame of your sequence?

Same thing happened to me when it took less than a minute to finish a frame on my master pc.
The slave may not be able to catch up with the preparation speed of the master for each frame.

The best solution for now is to render using backburner for sequences, it's the fastest way for now.
Native octane network rendering does better for stills that take hours of time to finish.

Hi Akira,
Thanks for your reply. A single frame takes about 7 minutes on one GPU, so the slave should have enough time to catch up..
