Sketchup Octane Material Editor

Hey guys first post here - Any idea why sometimes I have to reboot sketchup in order to use the octane material editor? Sometimes it works others it does not - Any ideas? Same thing with the render window - doesnt alway refresh and requires reboot - Using Sketchup 2015

you are not alone, if you figure out what exactly breaks the connection it would be good...
i have not yet found out what action breaks it but yes, it happens=)

Hello mate, yes that happens. I use SU2014 Octane 0.12.142 because I think is the better version (stable).
But still sometimes the connection is lost. Most of the times it happens when I'm inside a group and the Octane viewport is open. The same happens to materials window.
I just restart SU, because most of the times is the easy and faster way to get it to work on again.
Fuzzy knows about this, but he is off. Lets pray for his return.

Hi,
Yup, this is a very random feature. Can't catch why it happens. I'll give it another try soon.
