hi,
any info out there about the performance of one of these over say a gtx 480? they are around 1.5k at the moment. could be a good option. It has 4gb of vram.

Just try to find the amount of GFLOPS of the card on wikipedia and compare it to the GFLOPS of a GTX400 card on wikipedia,
that's a pretty good indicator of relative speed...
