Hello!
I'm trying to export a scene to ORBX but I think I'm doing something wrong because the only thing I get is a 14kb ocs file.

whenever a click on "edit in stand alone" it opens the program but empty. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks!

windows version have not this problem. But you should restart a render on Live viewer before the calling of this command. Because it sends the current render data.

np. i can add a control to detect if Octane render data is not valid. But this will not be a exact solution because you can think that's exporting wrong if you changed the scene after previous render session. Best is to understand that how works.

I didnt realize this function was for the live viewer render. How do i export a c4d with animation into stand alone? this function only seems to export the objects, I need an abc export. Could you please post a screen shot of the native cinema 4d .abc export settings that will allow me to render animations in stand alone?

I'll improve this function for scene exchange between AE-C4D. Currently there is a way to export animations. This is a little hacky way. Activate motion blur from camera tag. Set shutter to a long duration as 1-2 sec or so. Than start a render on LV and export to ocs. Or call "start editing on standalone" command. that's all. But duration is limited to about 200 key frames currently. Be aware this avoid crashes.
