'Screen' Mapping for the environment HDR - help?

Is there any way to replicate the behaviour of 3ds Max's own 'screen' type of projection for the environment?

I basically want to match virtual camera's perspective to that of the photograph I've taken.

This feature is already a part of standalone (since 1.2 -> watch: at 1:12), it's just that I find it (or a way to mimick it) within max.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes you can preview viewport backgroud in octane viewport but you can't save image with it.

http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... nd#p214563

steps:

1. Views -> Viewport Background -> Custom Image Files to setup viewport background
2. under Kernel tab of Render Setup Window
turn on "use viewport background"
turn on "alphachannel"
turn off "keep_environment"
3. open OctaneRender viewport to see results.
