Hi everyone, i have a problem with noise in my simpy interior scene.
Iam quite new in octan rendere, I used to work in blender cycles but I decided to change it to blender octane render plugin to get better and faster effect.
I dont know what to do to reduce this f**king noise. Maybe i have something wrong in my material setting or render setting?
i havent got IES light, only hdri and sun, havent got heavy model, bump is only on the floor and carpet.
And why it get so LONG? much longer than cycles?
I used this script http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Blender/?page_id=66
and some test to channge rend setting

i use nvidia quadro k4000

The K4000 is not a very fast rendering card.
Better go with a GTX.

Study to see effects of coherent ratio, gi_clamp, path termination parameters. Also set caustic blur=1. Try to add some additional light sources or openings on environment. Don't use high specular values. Stay with diffuse material on walls.

Since those new settings I mostly reduce GI_Clamp to 5 and dont use caustic blur = 1 anymore. Without caustic blur and less energy due the clamp there are mostly no fireflies. If there are any I can reduce them setting the firefly feature to 0.7 or so
