Hi, there are two things you need to look at:
1. make sure you choose "Instance" when duplicating these proxy trees instead of "Copy".
2. select all trees and right-click -> Octane properties -> Turn on "movable proxy" flag.

i have this problem if i accidentally set movable proxy to dummies or some other helpers especially linked ones. I usually uncheck movable proxy for itoo forest, if you use one.

Try to select all objects in your scene and go to their octane properties and uncheck movable proxy from all of them and see if it works like that.

the available memory of your GPU is too low, only 0.77GB left, are there other applications running(photoshop or ae or premiere or games)?

I have no other programs running, in this case ( 5 types of trees ) Octane use only 0.77 GB memory.

I have always so little memory of my GPU (max 2,0 GB). I thought it was normal

vor exemple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHcmX-HL1Mo
this Gay also has a 3x GTX 780 and has ~1.8GB memory.

Hi,
have you disabled SLI in nvidia control panel?

http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... LI#p217584

If it still renders slow after disabling SLI, i think it's time to PM master Karba for help. :)

i noticed if i have like 5 trees and i instance them it will render very slow. But if I have these 5 trees and use itoo forest with 200000 instance copies of them it will render very fast. Not sure why
Same if I convert itoo forest cloud point trees to actual viewport mesh it will render like 20 times slower
