Hello otoy user,

I want to create a vintage type look and feel, but I still think its not right!
What did you think - What breaks the illusion of a photo real image?

I find it kind of distracting that there is a super clean casing, but a worn/used material look&feel on the speaker holegrid and on the black key.

If you google for vintage radio you could use some materials shown there?
I would use "used" Wood and Plastik for this tool. Maybe bring in some 70´s color´s too...

Besides that, its a very nice idea and design :)

Thanks for your advice. I will try the plastic case, with a little bit more scratches and worn color look. Actually on the case there are scratches but there totally misplaced in the sense of weathering and using the device. The camera blur does the rest to hide the effect.

along with what was mentioned, some of the scratches on the beveled edge of the speaker could look better. some areas have the same scratch wrapping around from the edge of the bevel to the top. in real life it wouldn't happen like that. the top and the side could be scratched in the same spot but it probably wouldn't be a continuous scratch, if that makes sense. Probably focus more on scratches parallel to the edges, on the edge itself rather than scratches going perpendicular.

Thanks for all the advice. I know it looks not as realistic as it can be, but I am happy with it now.
