Crash at the start of a render

Ok, I'm having a bit of a problem with the Octane demo

My system specs:

Alienware M9750 laptop

GeForce 8700m GT (I know, it's weak, but it's supposedly a CUDA card :?: )

Intel T7200 core 2 duo 2.0ghz processor

4 GB RAM

Windows XP Professional 64-bit

I've downloaded and installed the dev drivers (Tried 3.0 and 3.2)

The problem is, I can successfully import a mesh, but when I click the node in the graph editor to begin a render, Octane just suddenly closes? It happens 100% of the time, clicking on the node for the mesh in the graph editor causes Octane to just suddenly stop running.

I've tried with a very simple obj, made sure the mesh was triangulated, I even tested a benchmark scene that I downloaded from this forum, but I'm having no luck at all with Octane.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I can provide more information if it is needed.

I would suggest you google for and download the latest verde program drivers.
Don't install or uninstall if you already have anything else, eg the cud toolkit or SDK as on windows this is not needed.

Maybe also try with one of the test suite scenes to make sure it's not a scene file issue.
You can download the test suite from our downloads page...
