Coherent ratio new flicker

Hi, the new coherent ratio introduces light flickering with Path tracing even at 2000 samples, the old coherent mode only with low samples like 600 or lower, at 600 or higher the animations were flicker free with coherent mode activated, how can I change the value of the new coherent ratio to be like the old coherent mode?, so I can get some speed improvements of the old coherent mode without flickering? , thanks.

To which value did you set it?

I have the same problem. Before, the flickering passed away after 100-150 samples. Now the whole picture is getting covered by strange spots and shadows. It is impossible to create animation when coherent ratio is on. Im using plugin Maya 2.15 - 6.0 Win [TEST]

Is it just an on/off option in the Maya plugin? If yes, then that's a bug in the plugin. It should be a value in the range between 0 and 1. In the Standalone, older scenes with coherent mode enabled will be converted to a coherent ration of 0.35, which gives roughly a similar look.

Yes it looks like it is a bug in the plugin then, because I can't set any value in the render preferences, hope the next release of the plugin have the option, thank you very much.

I've just checked it - yes, this is the bug, you can't change the float value of the ratio. Thanks for report.
Will be fixed in next version.
