Bones exporting as mesh

I did a search and couldn't find anything related so here is my issue.
When I export a scene using the latest plugin, the bones (physique) are converted and exported with the mesh, as seen below.


I have them set to invisible to renderer, however that has no effect on export. Is there a way to exclude them from the export. Obviously deleting them will not work, and they shouldn't be converting to mesh objects on export.
