Hello,

Anyone know about GPU render farm ? I need to render some animations in full hd, and even on direct lightning it takes too much time for frame (~2h on 3x 580).
If anyone with better setup wantet to earn some cash i can pay for renders ...

Anyone ?

Even 4x Titans are going to render Your scene 40-45min per frame - think You need to do some kind of optimisation =)

Just LOTS of glass/reflection/roughness stuff...

It's too long. Tweak your settings...

I have similar problem with an animation I'm working on, it takes about 1 hour a frame, not because of reflections, but because it's quite dark, and takes forever to cleanup the noise, even with GI clump set to 1 and the Portals on the windows...

I've had this before and was able to get a speed increase by increasing the amount of light in the scene and then using gamma/exposure to drop the scene back to the correct darkness level. Probably not at the same quality level to are doing, but might help....

I tried that, but the highlights will burn too quickly, and the overall lighting won't be the same...

I think there is a thread somewhere with software mentioned to apply noise reduction in postproduction to reduce rendertime enormously...i use photpaint with batch for noisereduction on seperate redneered png's.

Noise reduction is not a good solution for production... It blurs out the details.
Unfortunately there is no solution rather than.. wait... :(

All my hopes are in Octane CE.
