Using Octane 1.5 as i have not upgraded to 2.1 yat. Is there any way to not render enviroment textures in 1.5? I just want the light from an HDRi Panorama but don´t want it visible in the render.

Turn on "Alpha Channel" in the octane kernel settings. This will make the final render transparent where the background would normally be.
Is that what you are after?

Yes that is what i am after. I have a scene with a black body emission light helping to get some punch in the lighting. For some reason i don´t understand the light does not render when using Alpha channel, only the environment light renders. In preview render i see the light but not in final render. Any idea why?

Does it render in the final render when you untick "alpha channel" again?
You haven't accidentally restricted rendering for this object?

Yeah render i toggled on for the mesh emitter. If i toggle Alpha so the environment texture is rendered ithe mesh emitter is rendered again. Maybe a bug in Blender?
