hi,
you can do it only with octane 2.14 and a mix material with the new polygon side node in the ammount

hi,
sorry, it seems to work well except with the emission node, since the emission is made always in the normal direction and ii's always black in the opposite side

anyway i have solved duplicating the mesh, inverted the normals and moved by 0.1cm the surface with the normal move command, hope it could work also for you

ciao beppe

great to hear about the poly side node! I ran into this problem recently and also used the normal move workaround. An even faster/flexible way in c4d is to move the normals using a plain effector as a deformer... For my case I found the problem after I baked a simulation to PLA so needed to move the normals on every frame

It would not cast emission on back side of triangle. That's the problem.
