It's finally here!
RedSpec TGX tailored for Millennium 4 Females comes with custom SSS alpha maps specifically tailored to all figures / characters based on this almost legendary figure generation by DAZ3D, which gave birth to one of the most famous and up to this day still most used 3D Figure - VICTORIA 4.
Expect the same skin-shading-goodness you've come to love from our other shader packs Belle 6, Brodie 6, Mei-Lin 6 and of course the Genesis 2 Female ones.

It's available for purchase directly through our own web-shop here: http://redspec-sss.com/products.html and of course supports both - the DAZ Studio and Poser plug-ins of OctaneRender.

We also have a BUNDLE DEAL set up for everybody who would like to purchase the Genesis 2 Female and Millennium 4 female shaders together.

PS: Please remember that these are only compatible to the OctaneRender for DAZ studio plug-in version 2.12 and above - they will not work with version 1.2.
PS 2: Everybody who purchased RedSpec TGX tailored for Genesis 2 Females is in for some serious discounting. If you're interested in the Millennium 4 Female shaders and have purchased the Genesis 2 Female version between November 20th and November 22nd please write us an E-Mail to sales"at"redspec-sss"dot""com".

Thanks for your time and Happy Rendering!

Just purchased this (I know, I know, I'm a little late) and can't wait to try this later tonight. SSS and TGX have been great, but I think this will be leaps better!

Now, what's up with the eyes? Nothing I do, or try, gets good, realistic looking eyes! I read in this forum somewhere awhile ago by Face_off abut the need to seperate some components of the eyes a tad for I believe better (or non-texture driven) reflections. Has anyone done this? And what can I do to make the iris...sparkle? Everything I've done so far, they look...lifeless, fake.

Thanks
Sam

Hi Sam,

as the matter of fact the main difference between eyes that appear "sparkling" or lively as one can say, lies in the fact that there are lights or sourrundings reflecting in them.
I use HDR Light Studio pro, to position lights so they shine directly in my characters eyes, creating that interesting lively sparkle.
YOu can of course also achieve this by using mesh lights.

It works very well with TGX tailored out of the box.

Hope this helps

Noel

I purchased "RedSpec TGX 1.1 for Millennium 4 figures" last month, and use it only with Victoria 4.2. If I get "RedSpec TGX tailored for Millennium 4 Females", will it give any better looking render? Or will I get the same result faster?

Hey Masato,

the TGX tailored shaders deliver a more refined SSS effect in less time than the "original" RedSpec shaders.
You will save on render time, but get an overall more natural looking effect.

If you've got any more questions - don't hesitate to ask..

Kind regards

Noel

Hi Noel, thanks so much for your quick reply. It sounds quite tempting because Redspec TGX is already indispensable for my V4. Do you have any actual comparison between the new and the original somewhere - to be able to see the rendered images and speed?

Kind regards,

Masato

Dear Masato,

I will make sure to put up a comparison video this weekend, showing the differences.
Kind regards

Noel
