Any tips on how to optimize an octane scene?

hi guys, needing help to make my scene run faster. besides lowering the samples, are there any settings to watch for to optimize the scene? any settings that should not be touched no matter what?
thankfully the plugin is quite simple and not overcomplex but it's still a bit daunting as i have just started using it...
thanks!

so i ended up lowering the sample count to as low as 48 and with a respectable filter size, seemed to do the trick playing with those two together...

Hi,
It is not a tip on scene optimalization, but you can try this and see if it works for your scene,
if you are looking for less noise in same rendertime.
1. Render your image on set resolution with determined maximal time.
i.e. 1920x1080px for 10minutes
2. Render with higher resolution with same time
i.e. 3840x2160px (or i.e. 2870x1620) for 10 minutes
Then denoise and resize your image to 1920x1080 in postproduction
3. Compare results
Cheers,

Check free scene & some of my thoughts I've wrote about optimising & Noise/rendertime reduction =)
It's not meant to be go-to solution, but it works for me, try that =)
