hello, I need your help.
How can I have a flat background image in the active camera (simple rectangular image) using the render engine octane? I wish you could see in live view. There is a simple method or should I give my hand a mesh bottom and give it the material?
(with octane environment is adapted to the image 360 degrees, so I do not get what I want)
thank you all.
Hello, Simone (Mantova, Italy)

(ps.google traslate  )

Hello Simone
You can have an image displayed during live viewport rendering by ticking "Alpha channel" and setting the background image in a window that contains the camera view - see the screenshot below. Also you may want to tick "Premultiplied alpha" in Octane imager to improve antialiasing. Unfortunately I don't know if there is a way to get the background image displayed in final F12 rendering - for this I usually use a plane with a background image projected onto it.
