i already have an octane standalone + c4d plugin license.

but i need to work on 2 computers with octane. one is rendering all the time and the other for lighting and texturing.

how can i do? pls don't say to me that i have to buy another standalone + plugin licese. in this case i have to spend another 650 euro right?

I actually don't know if the standalone and the plugin _have_ to be installed on the same PC. So why don't you try to render with either the plugin or standalone on 1 PC, and use the other one on the second PC? You can move the license from your account.

you mean render with the standalone on pc 1, and work with plugin on pc 2?

so i am interested in buying more licenses for octane and no one on the official forum answer my question...really??

Try to read a bit around =) some plugins don't need plugin' licence on Your render nodes, just StandAlone (I'm not sure if it applies for every plugin though).

Yes, if You want full set, StandAlone + plugin, there's no other way to do it cheaper - full price.
There were promo period, but it's over & we haven't heard any news about new licensing model.

I already checked, and before spending other hundreds of euros i just wanted to be sure that there is no other way to work as i wish.
so i thought that the only way to be 100% sure is to have an answer from an admin.

i am going to wait till monday.

-If you want to work and render simultaneously on two computers you should have two COMBO(SA+C4D) licences.
-To work on a pc and continue to render on second pc, you can do it with one plugin + two SA licences.
-Also it's a floating license. So you can change host pc anytimes, if it helps to you.

Prices: COMBO = SA+C4D is 459Euro. SA=299E, C4D=199E
