I'm posting this in the maya boards because that's all I use octane for. Can anyone tell me in layman's terms what Amazon Octane Cloud Workstation is and how anyone can use it?

I saw on youtube a video of a guy opening up Octane in a Firefox browser and it was rendering near realtime.

Is this the same thing that Otoy is still in development with? Because it looks like it's available to users now.

It's for developers. We will launch both Octane CE and Partner apps + Octane plugins through x.io after 2.1.x. Before that, we have one more update related to network rendering to get out the door.
