I'm trying to run some tests with x particles and wanted to check if you guys have some suggestions. I couldn't find anything on the forum. Here I'm working with normal emitter (white spheres) and a skinner.
Do you guys know for example how to get rid of the white spheres or change them somehow? I couldnt figure it out.

you change the size in the emitter section. To turn them off look in the drop down options in the dialog menu

hi, looks great. All joking aside, disable Octane dialog->options->enable particle engine.
This causes to produce a sphere for each particles

thanks, if I change the radius in the emitter it doesn't really change the size of the particle rendered.
Where should I change it?

Good stuff, thanks!

I am testing the demo version of x-particles and can't get them to generate in octane. If I use the cinema 4D particles i can see them (only as a white sphere when I enable the particle engine). How do I make it so I can see the x-particles in Octane and give them a different material/size?
if someone can make a quick test scene that would be awesome. Or any other info.
Just not sure what I'm missing here.

Demo xp doesn't give particle data, that's the problem

Ah, Thought it may be something like that. Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there a way to scale the native cinema 4D particles while using the octane particle engine. I can get them to show up, but can't give them a color or different scale. Do you have to use the hair material or something?
