someone drop this libary to the internet...http://www.safari-fx.de/gurustuff/Octane_SSS_Libary.zip (including 30 seperate scenes with seperate shaderball objects. every shaderball have saved the node separatly.load the scene and enjoy. play with the bitmap in the root of the node. change the bitmap and play with the possibilitys of the 3 sss nodes. change also the color in the reflection channel from the first sss node. tip: if you will use the shader for objects he bigger than the shaderball (10cm) you have to resize your bitmap .p.s. you need Octane and Lightwave for that libary
