AVI animation as texture?

Hi is it possible to have avi animation as texture in 3ds max?

don't think so...
i've consulted karba about animated textures a few weeks ago. the 3dsmax plugin supports IFL (
http://www.3dmax-tutorials.com/IFL_File ... sary_.html) image sequence. For now, it seems the only way to animate image textures. Think of it like rendering frames where each frame has one of the images as specified from the IFL image sequence file.
