Well... This time around it is something absolutely, completely, totally different from what I did so far... I mean ever... umm... probably... :D

DAZ Studio for scene setup. Octane Plugin for light, materials and rendering. Few custom created bits and pieces. Clean render, no post work.

Octane v1.2, PMC kernel, HDR map for light and reflections, 10k s/px.

I like these trinkets, is it a brass mat for the dragon? looks like it.
Also, you must mean v2.1 (rather than v1.2) right?

Thank you :)

Yes, the material used for the dragon is the brass from Live DB with almost no modification to it. As for the version, it really is not a mistake as there is no stable DAZ Studio plugin that would use Octane v2.x for rendering. The last stable version of the plugin is using the above mentioned version of Octane render, which is 1.2

I could use standalone as I have purchased the upgrade as soon as it was released but I prefer to use the plugin as it gives me more flexibility when I need to do adjustments to the scene itself plus I really like the 'ergonomics' of the plugin's interface.

Hopefully there will be a new stable version of the plugin (based on Octane v2) coming in few months, which I'm really looking forward to because I would really love to start using some of the new v2 features (like edge rounding).
