Motion-graphics video with Octane

Hi Guys,

Here's a Little film I did for a Danish client this summer. It's not your typical visualization video, but more motion-Graphics ish ;)
The film was rendered using DL, and rendering was approx. 1,5 minutes pr. frame. PT would have been nicer obviously, but deadline was tight as always. Total render time: Appx. 1 weekend ;)

Also, if any of you find the voiceover artist's voice familiar, it's because it's the same guy who did the voice for "Hitman" in the "Hitman" game-series

OKay enough talk, here's the video: https://vimeo.com/107148368

Schodt,
I really enjoyed that. Creative and great attention to detail. I think DL actually lends itself very well to this kind of work. Well done!

Did you use Max? You should put your software / hardware specs in your signature.

Best,
Seeker

Seekerfinder - thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video the visual style :) ! And yeah DL is great for these kind of videoes, and the post-processing feature in Cinema 4D meant that I had to do very little post work in After Effects afterwards.

Good point about the signature, I just added my system specs. I'm using Cinema4D btw. I'm loving Octane's seamless integration in it :)

That's better - thanks Schodt.

I have not worked with C4D but it looks like they're just getting better & better. Must try it some time.

Great video!

PS. Is you PSU corsair 1500 quiet when rendering with 4x780? At what power usage does its fans power up?

Tusind tak Gumz - sjovt, troede ikke der var særlig mange fra DK der bruger Octane :)

@Smicha - thanks man! I'm running the cards with their stock air-cooler, so it's generally very loud when I'm rendering - I really can't differentiate whats coming from the GPUs or the PSU - but one thing is for sure, it sounds like a mini fighter-jet taking off ;) But I'm very pleased with the PSU - so far I've had no problems running the 4 cards along with a slightly OCed CPU
