The design creates a cozy little place. Soft neutrals, striking grey offer results that are rich with ambiance and character.

Very nice composition for the first two but the last one doesn't do anything for me.
I think you got the the lighting spot on but two things spoil the realism, 1) the folds on the rug are too stiff and a lot of your books are facing the wrong way on the bookshelf.
Apart from that I love it!

Very good works! I don't agree that the other side of books makes it less real - to me contrary - this introduces 'good mess' and is rendered very well.
On the second image I would only move that central thing that is out of depth of field to the left to get diagonal composition.
Did you use any post-techniques to get chromatic aberration?
