This is my latest rendering project.
I tried to make it as realistic as I could.
What is your opinion?

Very nice work!I see some great images you've created... Too bad I can't learn Blender!
Since I have to make all drawing plans for the buildings I make, I am really stuck with Revit and 3ds MAX ... However, my son is only 10yo and I think Blender will be the best choise for him!

Thank you for your comment! If I am not mistaken you must be an architect.
I am studying architecture too, I'm finishing my bachelor. I have worked with 3ds max, cinema 4D, Vray, Cycles, CryEngine even with Lumion...
All these software are equally good, so the point is which one fits you! I finally chose blender because I noticed that it is a lot faster
than 3ds max and you can achieve decent results. But, there are tons of handy plug ins for 3ds max which you cannot find for blender.
So, as for your son, if he can learn to use 3ds max with the modeling speed of blender along with octane for max, I think this is the best combo!
Besides, you know better than me that in our job time is money!

I don't like them.
I guess it is AO.
Some models are too simple.
Some materials are too simple.
White balance is incorrect.
Camera used has way too much linear response. Try with an Ektachrome at gamma 2.2.

Thank you for your comment! You guessed right it is direct light/diffuse. If you could suggest me any tutorials or tips
in order to learn how to improve my materials I would really appreciate that! To be honest I dont really know anything about
white balance Also, I tried your suggestion for the camera and I like it, it is much better!

The light is to bright and hard imo. Soften it up, make it abit less and everything should move nicely into focus imo. Or use an HDRI. Otherwise technicly it is pretty good i think, but due to the lack of colour it is making it slightly look like a clinic. For example i really like the bamboo in the kitchen, but why not add some greens aswell? The ceiling in the living room is pretty cool, but then your eyes move lower and it is like where is the contrast? Everything is white, plus that bright light. Am i dieing or what is goin on here? So i would defintiely try to experiment abit more with colours and patterns and trying to make it look alittle bit more lived in. You might just be able to achieve this by setting some accents here and there. Other then that, it is pretty damn fine already, i would say.

Time is money...if you only want to make them understand how the building will look like, these pictures are more than enough!
There are times you must deliver a completely realistic image... but this is sometimes boring...

@stelios20: REVIT,MAX, FORESTPACK PRO AND MAXWELL RENDER... GREAT RESULTS BUT TOO MANY HOURS EVEN WITH 3 i7 pcs... Now I have speed and quality... but only 1-2 customers !!!

I really liked your images, some materials could pop a little more, and the carpet doesn't feel fluffy... but the model, lighting and the cameras are great... good job!
