I like it. I like the boards too. Need to ad to my beat up collection.
Its the little things that separate a good image from a great image and in my work I am often to pressed for time (read lazy) to often do them... but its easy to advise other to do them... so here ya go.
The bricks are a little too clean and symmetrical. You may have used a brick texture off the internet. If you can go into photoshop and rough up one our two or even change the tone of some of them randomly and only a little... or better still find a realistic wall and shoot it and make a displacement map for it : > )
The boards all look really clean and ordered. Throw some wax on one or two and tilt or lean them just a little off perfect. Even think about one or toe eating up against one another. You still will be abel to see whats behind it and if these are your friends boards he will still recognize them... they are his offspring :>))
The left board looks too shiny. I don't think any of my boards even when they were new would reflect like that. Could be wrong but check out a new board it is shin but not ultra reflective.... all the layers in the foam, paint and fiberglass etc.
Lastly.. what are those lights in front at eye level. This looked like a garage door from the outside and the boards are leaning up against it. Those lights would hit my head or my surfing banging wagon man :>))
Now having given you way to much input that my lazy ass would not take the time to do... its still a nice image man.
Keep it up and tell your friend when he sells the second one in form the left .... I'm a taker :>))
