Hello,

I Hope it's OK to post this here...we are aiming to make our first Animated feature film, it will be rendered in Octane and Animated in Max.
If we Manage to get proper funds it will be the First Animated Full Length Movie "Made in Mozambique" and we aim to do it at a fraction of the Budget that's normally set for this kind of movie...

Please Guys help spread the word, better yet, if you can, do contribute .

In 2 Days ( we will release a short movie that we did (also rendered with Octane) Last Year, it runs for 12Mins, and it was rendered on 4gtx590 over the period of 3 months. The short was nominated this Year for best animation of 2014 by the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

How large was your team? How much time you guys worked on it in total?

Team was mostly me..the wife wrote the script and my younger brother modeled a car and treehouse and another friend modeled the radio.

All animation, rigging light and render and the rest of the modeling was done by me.

It was done on our free time during 1year more or less.

Even the voices..the girl my wife's voice and the tall skinny guy is mine..we just edited to sound like kids.

Music was done by a friend.. sound effects was me and this friend..but mostly me as well...

Did you use any motion capture or is it all "hand made"?

Mocap was used but very very little..id say about 85% was hand... the part where she throws the rock to distract the guy was mocap...

How did you model the movements of leaves the trees - these are so good.
