I have Maya 2015 SP3 with a student license.

The only OctaneRender plugin versions provided for download that are compatible with Maya 2015 are 1.55 and 2.06 even though my license is only valid for version 1.20. Using 1.55, the plugin returns the error: "// Error: Error activate Octane plugin: This plugin account (educational) is only valid for version 1.20 or earlier."

Q1) Where is the 1.20 plugin for Maya 2015???

Hi Andreas,

There is no 1.20 version for Maya 2015. When 1.20 was made Maya 2015 either did not exist or was very new so 1.20 was never developed to support 2015.
We are no longer developing 1.20 either, so AFAIK we won't be making a 1.20 for Maya 2015 sorry.
