octane values scale / decimals issue

Inspired by another post i would like to mention an issue that has been there from the beginning:
Most of 3dsmax values are above 0
It´s much quicker to enter numbers above 0 than entering decimals!
For example Turbulence texture scale is most of the time somewhere between 0,0001 and 0
Why not scale the octane values by 100x or 1000x?
Almost two years ago the roughness value got changed on request of several users....
since we work most of the time in cm, spinner precision needs to be 1-2 decimals maximum.
If we set spinner precision to 4 decimals this can become very un-handy for many other things.

- agree, this is crap, is there maybe a different approach to this, can we set increments from 3dsmax to be in 0.001 - although this is silly since it cannot be global
- but yeah, I'm consttantly changing values by hand instead of spinners - it shouldnt make a big change to the octane standalone workflow - but it would have an impact on loading old scenes in newer version.. I'm still running old version because of compatibility

Change your precision globally for your spinners under customise/preferences/general.
You can edit decimal precision & snap value for spinner (used when clicking spinner arrow)
Play with these settings so you can get back to enjoying Octane's rays of goodness.

I´ve been working with 3dsmax for fifteen years now;
i am familiar with these settings.
IT IS a pain in the ass to work with 4 decimals!
And i don´t know why the Octane developer team loves decimals.....
There are numbers above 1 !

Major annoyance with those o.oo1 values. Max turns into crazymode when entering numbers when you have 4-5 decimal places. If you enter 1.0 you will get 0.9999 etc. Incredible annoying and unnecessary.

Please, Otoy Team, can we at least have a comment on the decimal issue?
Thanks a lot
