Hi Nico,

First I think that the your problem with the Standalone, if it doesn't work with your Titan Black, is that you don't have your NVIDIA drivers updated to the last version. Please, download the last version of the drivers and try to render with the Standalone program again.

About the plugin, once you have the Standalone working, you should be sure that you are using the x64 Octane.dll and Octane.dat files, and the plugin .p file also for x64. Also be sure that you have the visual c++ 2012 sp4 redistributable x64 (not the x86 32 bits redistributable):

Please, let me know first if you can run the Standalone app without problem, to later try to fix the plugin install issues.

hi Juanjo, first step ok.
in standalone i dont have actived the gpu under preference setup   .
Tomorrow i see it and now work fine.
Load correctly the test scene as spaceshift or benchmark and go baby go!!! impressive!!

for plugin in the afternoon reload it.
Initial i've thinked that load x32 but load x64 so i've see the visual c++ 2012 sp4 redistributable x64 and 'ive install it.
it's possible that i've install x64 and x32 visual c++ 2012 - can delete x32 witout format?
so later test all and hope it's work so can render render render!! :geek:

if i've problem post screenshot so can see correctly all!

thank's for help

You can have both x32 and x64 redistributable packages in your system without problems. You need the x64 installed to add the x64 LightWave plugin, but the x32 redistributable should not be a problem at all.

Please, let me know if all works fine.

Ok, please, repeat this steps, and let me know if it works. You should have Windows x64 and Lightwave 11.6 x64

- First, check in the Windows program manager that you have the Visual C++ 2012 x64 redistributable installed correctly, as you can see in the attached picture.
- Download the last plugin build (2.6.1) from http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=40793
- From the .zip folder "Octane-for-LW_2.6.1_Windows\plugins_x64" copy the "Octane.dll" and "Octane.dat" files to your "Lightwave11.6.3\bin" folder
- Copy the Octane .p plugin file from the .zip folder "Octane-for-LW_2.6.1_Windows\plugins_x64\plugin_LW11.6" to any folder of your HD
- Now open the Layout and try to add the plugin

With only this steps the plugin should be installed without problems, you don't need more files (only the menu branch, but you need to install the plugin first).

If it doesn't work we need to check what could be the problem: more than one LightWave versions installed in your HD, a problem with perhaps a previous installed Octane demo version, a problem with the redistributable, etc.
