Why all scene is illuminated?

Hello!

Help me to understand how octane light works. I need studio light for product visualisation. Everything behind light should be darker: the deeper from light the darker it should be. But it isn`t.

Here is how it looks in test shot using Octane:

Here is Vray example, and it works fine:

Where is my fault? Even if I remove octane light from scene it illuminated.

Check your environment lighting: http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Cinema4D/?page_id=1955
If needs be, add the octane environment and then set it to black.
