hi there, i'm having some trouble with the textures compression utility inside poser, i think i'm missing something, please if someone could point me in the right direction, would be much appreciated :]

when i start the compression utility it doesn't find any texture applied on my models, as you can see from the image, i circled 1 random object, you see the material including some textures, but even in the counter utility, no textures. Let me explain, it only happens to my own models, except for victoria4 and the hair, all the clothing, props and items are self made, so i suppose i'm doing something wrong in the importing/material-creation phase. However in the render window the textures are working fine; i didn't use the poser material room, i built all the mats inside octane (wrong?) in the poser mat room i just deleted the checkboard textures i used to make the uvs in max, should i build the mats in poser and then convert 'em to octane?



sorry, i understand that utility looks "idiot-proof" but i need some help

uh sorry, i didn't notice the options for the attachment

The Compress Texture Maps scripts works on the POSER material, not the OCTANE material. And you can see the TOP_hi is being reported a having no texturemaps in the Poser material - so the dialog window on the right is not listing any texturemaps. Did you manually add top_nero_dettagli_BN.jpg to the Octane material for TOP_hi? If so, you will need to reduce it mnual in photoshop/gimp.

oh...i mean HOOOO...

yes i manually built all the mats inside octane, bypassed poser completely. I thought the utility was on the "octane side"
