Hi!

I have a simple material in c4d that has a color and a luminance channel with fresnel.

Here is a screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/czx3jfg96pkw4 ... .09.02.png

Is there any way I can add that luminance channel to octane materials?

Thanks! :)

you can work with c4d materials. But it's not recommended for advanced controls. Plugin does some some basic conversion for c4d materials to Octane when you use it. This is internally and not visible by you. Ex. if you have reflect and illuminance together, there is no material support both feature together on same material. Solution is to mix a Octane diffuse and a glossy material and put a emission to diffuse material.

Thank you for the quick reply!

It's working, but the problem is that I am using also a displacement on the specular material and when I apply it to the mix material the displacement is not rendering. Is there any way I can fix this?

mixmaterial has own displacement slot. you should use it
