Hello all, I just finished a few renders of my second test with Octane, this time messing around with bump and the medium parameters. Again, what can I say, I'm blow away with the results from Octane.
A little bit of background info on the geometry: I didn't model it, but instead used parametric formulas specifically made for plotting pasta shapes in 3D. Basically everything you see is an extreme/macro version of 6-7 different pastas. I have a little write-up on my blog regarding the process for that in Cinema4D for the curious: http://fredhuergo.wordpress.com/2014/05 ... ric-pasta/.
