Renders that never start.

I've got a few scenes that I'm trying to update to octane materials. One in particular will never start rendering. The octane window opens and it says "building geometry" forever.
What I want to know is if there's a log that I can see to determine what exactly is going wrong.

More data after going through the log file. (I didn't realize that Octane wrote to the DAZ log.
WARNING: QObject::killTimer: timers cannot be stopped from another thread
This is repeated about a thousand times in the relevant log file.

I've had a similar problem once in awhile when rendering certain animations. Usually it's the first frame of the animation that causes it - the OR viewport just says "building geometry" forever. What I have to do is render from the second frame and everything is fine. After I've rendered the animation I render the first frame as a single image which seems to render fine. So my problem is related to yours but slightly different. I've checked that the project doesn't use up all the texture spaces or VRAM. It seems that certain projects cause a glitch when building geometry?
