First Octane Project (Kitchen Study)

I was hired by an architect to show his client what his kitchen design would look like. By the way, the client will be in town in two days - is that enough time?

The request was to show the kitchen in context of the open floor plan, but not bother with completing everything in view - just highlight the kitchen.

I've been planning on investigating Octane for a while, so I thought given my work overload and the short amount of time, this project would be the perfect test. Yeah... I'm like that.

Anyway, given all that, I'd love to hear feedback on what I might improve. These are the first prelims I'm sending for client comment.

Hey Scott!

Glad to see you finally took a sip of the Kool-Aid.

I'd camera correct the first 2.

Good prelims.

best,
O

Loving the KoolAid. Thanks for all the tips!

Here's what I delivered. Not too shabby for a first outing with Octane. This could become a habit.

(BTW, still just direct light, though I upped it to 2000 samples.)
