Pricing oddities with multiple plugins?

It seems like there is something strange going on with the pricing scheme for people with multiple plugins. This doesn't apply to me, but can anyone confirm if this is correct (and that it's weird)?

If you bought v1.x with two plugins (say, Maya and Poser), and then upgraded to v2.x, you get one free plugin upgrade. So it looks like the math works out like this:

v1.x Standalone: 199
v1.x Maya plugin: 199
v1.x Poser plugin: 149
Combo discount (Maya): -39
Subtotal: 527

Upgrades:
v1.x to v2.x Standalone: 99
v1.x to v2.x Maya plugin: 0
v1.x to v2.x Poser plugin: 39
TOTAL: 646

On the other hand, if you bought all three today, it would be:

v2.x Standalone: 299
v2.x Maya plugin: 199
v2.x Poser plugin: 149
Combo discount (Maya): -39
TOTAL: 608

In other words, it looks like v1.x owners are being "punished." Can anyone verify if this is correct?

Version 1 owners aren't being punished. They were able to use v1 while waiting for v2 to come out. Then they can pay to upgrade to v2 features if they want to, or not. That's how upgrades work. And if someone had bought v1 within 30 days of v2 being released, they should probably contact OTOY sales.

Right, I suppose that makes sense. You could always stick with v1.x if you don't feel like you need the upgrade. Still beats an annual license.
