Hi there!
i want to buy a new pc.
My question is:
should I buy two gtx780 with 6gb or:
two Titan Black?
How faster is the titan black against the normal gtx780?
gtx780 with 6gb cost ~500€
Titan Black ~800€
greets,
NICK

the increase of the price is higher than performance, so value vise You can't beat 780. If You want the fastest box, You'll have to pay extra =) so it depends.. personally I'd go fot 780 & if budged alows would setup watercooling room (in my case noise matters, but that's not for everyone =)

We tried 780 vs Titan, and they were exactly the same speed in octane.

the question was different, not 780 vs Titan, but 780 vs Titan Black..
TitanBlack is fuly capable GK110, the same in 780Ti, but with double amount of vRam & unlocked DP performance (if I'm not mistaken). So in theory & in practice BLACK & Ti makes a difference..
