I cannot make any guarantees, but it should work as long as it's PCI-E and you have an nvidia Cuda GPU in it.

Maybe ask the support of the company if CUDA applications work on it. ?

beauphilippe, I was interested in these Vidock boxes a few months ago, but didn't try. If you decide to go and try a Vidock or something similar, please let us know :)

did some snooping around and found this in their faq section, http://support.villagetronic.com//faq.p ... nswer=8#f8 they support most geforce except gtx 480, because of its power demand x6 x8 pin

it could have been a solution for me but i am buy a gtx480 besides it seems to support only a 1 gpu, and i agree with beauphilippe cubix is on the high side, though it seems they know their onion

this bring me to the question of when exactly is octane release their pci e expansion solution and what price range should we expect?
need to know if its something i can wait for, i currently have a desktop that can handle the gtx480s am about to buy, so i can manage 1 gpu
and hang on till release date because i do not plan to change my power pack thanks

I can't promise when the new xpansion for octanerender will be ready, maybe just buy a new motherboard, it's cheaper and you can stick 2-3 GPUs on most modern and fairly cheap gaming motherboards.
